Siege Plan

Posted by Picasa

This is a terrain model which allows either the defender or attacker to manage a siege of a fortress. Creating or battling a siege of a fortified place is usually a long term, drawn out affair some times lasting for years and involving all branches of an army, digging saps, placement of guns, directing the artillery fire against the fortress walls, undermining the fort's walls, blunting the possible infantry and cavalry attacks of the fortified area, and providing food and materials for the siege, as well as the construction of the elements needed for the long term. The defender of the fort / city under siege must also plan for all of these aspects in a defensive mode.
